Luxury Lifestyle Journalist, Copywriter, Lecturer.

ABOUT

I am a London-based luxury lifestyle journalist, copywriter and university lecturer. I specialise in fine jewellery, accessories and shoes, however, over the years I have also written widely on fashion, travel and food. Early in my career, I spent four years employed in New York and later worked with a Paris-based luxury department store buying office for nearly a decade. My pieces have touched on all manner of subjects from Manolo Blahnik profiles to bathing in Japanese hot springs, mining peridot in China, and exploring the differences between jadeite and nephrite. These have appeared in a wide range of international newspapers and magazines including FT Watches & Jewellery special reports, HTSI, Vanity Fair, Aston Martin, Telegraph, New York Times (IHT), Footwear News (USA) and Wallpaper.com. Ongoing commercial work includes writing press releases, website content and tone-of-voice for a variety of brands. Past clients include emerging brands and start-ups as well as Stephen Webster, Anthropologie, Reiss, Bally and C.Atherley. Today, I combine freelance writing with lecturing part-time at London College of Fashion, UAL on Footwear, Accessories, Bespoke Tailoring and Fashion, Design & Development degrees. I hold a higher education professional teaching qualification (FHEA) and am a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Cordwainers.
