Elisa Anniss is a luxury journalist and content creator who also talent spots and competitively shops. Over the years her writing has touched on all manner of subjects from inner city dinghy sailing, Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin’s shoes to emerald-encrusted smart phones and the use of fossilised mammoth ivory in designer jewellery. Her articles have appeared in a wide range of international newspapers and magazines including FT How To Spend It, FT Watches & Jewellery, Instyle (UK and USA), The New York Times (IHT), BA First Life, Departures.com, Salt Magazine and City AM.  She also writes a monthly bulletin covering London’s newest restaurants, exhibitions and luxury shops commissioned by Time Inc. and distributed to U.S American Express Centurion cardholders. In 2004 she worked as a consultant helping to devise the designer shoe strategy for the launch of  vivaladiva.com, one of the UK's first shoe only e-commerce sites. Other commercial work includes writing press releases, website content and tone-of-voice for a variety of brands and companies such as Links of London, Reiss, Clarks and Bally.

Since graduating from Goldsmiths, University of London with a BA joint honours in History & Sociology, Elisa worked at Blitz Magazine, was fashion editor at Shoe & Leather News and then in the mid-nineties moved to Fairchild Publications in New York where she became the senior fashion editor at Footwear News. She remained with Fairchild until 2011 as FN’s London-based senior European editor. Since then, she has combined freelance writing with heading up the Paris-based Mint Group’s office in London. She also lectures at Cordwainers at London College of Fashion UAL, was instrumental in establishing a Cordwainers/Saks Fifth Avenue mentorship initiative and is a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Cordwainers.
